Official Accounts & Scam Warning

Fake accounts impersonating me are an ongoing problem on TikTok and social media. They copy my name, my videos, and my work, then message people asking for deposits. This page is the definitive record of my real accounts, how the scam works, and how genuine payments happen — so you can always check for yourself.

My Only Official Accounts

These are the only places I exist online. Check the handle character-by-character — fakes use near-identical names. Anything not on this list is not me, whatever the profile looks like.

How the Scam Works

The pattern is the same every time, and knowing it is the best protection:

  • A near-identical profile is created — my name (or one letter off), my photos, and my videos re-uploaded to look convincing. What it never has is my real contact details.
  • They message you first. Fakes target my followers and people who have liked or commented on my posts, often opening with a "special discount" or a "cancellation slot".
  • Then comes the pressure. Pushy follow-ups, invented reasons the money is needed now, and threats that the "offer" or date will disappear. Real bookings never work like that.
  • The payment request gives it away. They ask for bank transfers to an individual's personal account, PayPal "friends and family", gift cards, or cryptocurrency — all major red flags, and never how I take payment.

The Only Two Ways to Pay Me

Genuine payments to my studio happen in exactly two ways — there is no third:

  1. 1.Stripe, through this website. When you book online, your deposit is taken securely by Stripe — the same payment system used by major retailers. I never see your card details.
  2. 2.Bank transfer to my business account, LIAM REBEL TATTOOS. Used for balances and for work I arrange with clients directly, like multi-sitting projects. A genuine transfer is always arranged with me personally first, I send you the official details myself, and the account name is always the business name — never an individual's.

If you're asked to pay any other way — a personal account, PayPal friends and family, gift cards, vouchers, cryptocurrency, or any currency other than pounds — it is not me, full stop.

Things I Will Never Do

  • I will never message you first. If you haven't contacted me, any message "from Liam" that arrives out of the blue is fake.
  • I will never be pushy about bookings or deposits. There's no countdown, no "pay in the next hour", no pressure. Ever.
  • I will never request a payment or deposit through DMs. Deposits are paid through the website, or by a bank transfer we've arranged together — with details I send you myself.
  • I will never cold-offer "special discounts" by message. My offers and prices are published openly on this website — they don't arrive by surprise DM.

Not Sure? Been Targeted? Here's What to Do

  • Unsure if an account or message is really me? Don't pay anything. Check it against this page, or contact me through an official channel and ask — I'd always rather confirm than have someone lose money.
  • Spotted a fake account? Report it on the platform, and let me know through any official channel — you're doing me and everyone else a genuine favour.
  • Already paid a fake? Contact your bank straight away — acting fast gives the best chance of recovering the money. Then report it to Action Fraud (0300 123 2040), the UK's national fraud reporting centre.

Quick Answers

Does Liam Rebel Tattoos send messages on TikTok?
No — never. Liam posts videos on his official TikTok account (@liamrebeltattoo) but does not send or reply to messages on TikTok. Any account messaging you 'as Liam' on TikTok is fake, no exceptions, regardless of the name or photos on the profile.
How do I know if an account claiming to be Liam Rebel Tattoos is real?
Check the handle character-by-character against the official list at liamrebeltattoos.com/official-accounts — fakes use near-identical names with stolen videos and photos. The clearest tells: Liam never messages anyone who hasn't contacted him first, is never pushy about bookings or deposits, and never requests payment or a deposit through DMs.
How do you pay Liam Rebel Tattoos?
There are exactly two genuine ways to pay: a deposit paid securely through Stripe when booking on liamrebeltattoos.com, or a bank transfer to the studio's business account, LIAM REBEL TATTOOS — and only ever when Liam has arranged that payment with you directly and sent you the official details himself. Any request to pay a personal account, or via PayPal friends and family, gift cards, or cryptocurrency, is a scam.
What should I do if I've paid a fake Liam Rebel Tattoos account?
Contact your bank immediately — they can sometimes stop or recover a payment if told quickly. Report it to Action Fraud (actionfraud.police.uk or 0300 123 2040), report the fake account on the platform, and let the real studio know through any official channel so others can be warned.
