Terms & Conditions

By booking an appointment with me at Rebel Studio—whether via this website, social media, or in person—you are entering into a binding contract and agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Eligibility & ID (Strict 18+ Policy)

  • Legal Age: You must be 18 years of age or older to be tattooed. This is UK Law under the Tattooing of Minors Act 1969.
  • Parental Consent: I do not accept parental consent for anyone under 18.
  • Valid ID: You must bring a valid photo ID (Passport or Driving License) to your appointment.
  • Challenge 25: If you appear to be under 25 and fail to provide ID, I cannot tattoo you, and your deposit will be forfeited.

2. Booking & Deposits

  • Confirmation: No appointment is confirmed until a non-refundable deposit has been paid.
  • Deposit Amount: Deposits are paid via Stripe when booking online and are deducted from your total — £50 for a 3 or 4 hour sitting, £100 for a 6 hour, £150 for an 8 hour, and £200 for a 10 hour. The remaining balance is payable on the day by cash or bank transfer.
  • Non-Refundable: All deposits are strictly non-refundable.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Notice Period: I require at least 72 hours' notice to reschedule an appointment.
  • One-Time Move: You may reschedule your appointment once without losing your deposit, provided the 72-hour notice is given.
  • Late Cancellations: If you cancel or reschedule with less than 72 hours' notice, your deposit is forfeited to cover lost drawing time and the studio slot.
  • No-Shows: Failure to show up for your scheduled appointment will result in the immediate loss of your deposit.

4. Pricing & Payment

  • Balance Due: The remaining balance for your session is due immediately upon completion.
  • Duration-Based Model: Themed Sleeves and Full Day Sittings are priced based on the booking slot, not an hourly rate.
  • The "Tap Out" Policy: If you cannot complete the full session due to pain or fatigue, the full price of the booked session is still payable on the day.
  • Return Sessions: Any future sessions required to finish work due to a "tap out" will be charged at the standard hourly rate.
  • Lateness: Arriving more than 15 minutes late or taking excessive breaks (more than 10 minutes every 2 hours) cuts into your tattoo time. If the tattoo is unfinished due to these delays, a paid follow-up session will be required.

5. Designs & Creative Control

  • Themed Sleeves: For "Themed Sleeve" packages, I retain creative control over the layout to ensure the design fits within the single-sitting timeframe.
  • Redesign Fees: A fee applies for complete redesigns or a total change of concept. See Pricing & Packages for current rates.
  • Copyright: I retain full copyright and ownership of all custom designs and artwork. You may not reproduce the design for commercial use (e.g., clothing or logos) without written permission.

6. Health, Safety & Numbing Cream

  • Medical Disclosure: You must disclose any medical conditions (e.g., diabetes, blood-borne viruses) or skin conditions prior to booking.
  • Numbing Cream: You must inform me if you intend to use numbing cream. Improper use can ruin skin texture for realism; if the skin is unworkable, the session will be cancelled and the deposit forfeited.
  • Sobriety: I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

7. Aftercare & Guarantee

  • Client Responsibility: Once you leave the studio, the healing of the tattoo is your responsibility. Aftercare instructions will be provided.
  • Free Touch-Up: One free touch-up is available within 3 months of the appointment, provided my aftercare instructions were followed.
  • Negligence: Touch-ups required due to negligence (e.g., sun damage, picking, swimming) will be charged at the standard rate.
