Day Sittings & Half Day Sessions: Exclusive Realism Tattooing in Sheffield

For clients seeking high-quality black and grey realism, I offer focused Full Day and Half Day sittings at my private studio in Chapeltown, Sheffield. All of the tattoos below were completed in 6 hours or less

Unlike high-street shops with constant interruptions, my studio is appointment-only. When you book a sitting, you get 100% of my attention, a relaxed environment, and a dedicated focus on your artwork.
 

IMPORTANT:

How Realism Sittings Work Please read before booking: When you book a Full or Half Day, you are paying for the time slot, not a guaranteed finished tattoo.

Realism is a detailed process. While I work efficiently, I will never rush the quality of your piece just to "beat the clock."
 

  • If a piece is not finished within the booked timeframe, a follow-up session will be required (charged at my standard hourly or half-day rate).

  • Size Matters: The sizes listed below (A4/A5) are guidelines. Complex details, skin type, and placement all affect speed.
     

Full Day Sittings
Best for: Portraits, Outer Forearms, Outer Biceps, Calves, and starting Large Projects.
 

This is my most popular booking for clients wanting to make significant progress on larger pieces or complete standard-sized realism portraits.

  • Time: 09:30 – 15:30 (Approx. 6 Hours)

  • Size Guideline: Designs up to A4 Size (approx. sheet of paper).

  • Includes: Stencilling time, placement, tattooing, and short breaks.

  • The Experience: Listen to music, chat, watch Netflix.... Feel free to bring lunch, or there are local shops nearby.

 

Half Day Sittings
Best for: Smaller Realism Pieces, Hand Tattoos, "Gap Fillers," or finishing touches on larger work.

 

Perfect for smaller pieces that don't require a full day of endurance.

  • Morning Session: 09:30 – 12:30

  • Afternoon Session: 13:30 – 16:30

  • Size Guideline: Designs up to A5 Size (approx. half a sheet of paper).

 

Multi-Day Projects & Discounts

The Booking Process

​

  1. Select Your Slot: Choose "Full Day" or "Half Day" on my online booking system.

  2. Secure the Date: Pay the deposit to lock in your appointment.

  3. Consultation: Once booked, I will contact you via email/text to discuss your design ideas and reference images.

  4. Design Prep: I prepare the design prior to your arrival so we are ready to start at 09:30 sharp.

 

Why Choose a Private Studio? My studio in Chapeltown, Sheffield (A few minutes from M1 J35) is designed for comfort.

  • Privacy: No random people walking in off the street.

  • Comfort: Watch Netflix, listen to music, or just chat.

  • Focus: I am not juggling 3 other artists or answering the studio phone. I am focused entirely on your tattoo.

FAQ's About Day Sittings

What happens if we don't finish in time?

Realism requires patience. If the tattoo is not finished by the end of the session, we will stop at a safe point and you will need to book a shorter follow-up session to complete it. This serves to protect the quality of your tattoo. It is very rare that I am unable to complete a tattoo in the single session.

Can I book a Full Day for a smaller tattoo?

You can, but it is not cost-effective for you. If your design is small (A5 or smaller), please book a Half Day. If you are unsure, drop me a message before booking.

Do you stop the clock for lunch?

For Full Day sittings, the price covers the "Day Rate." This includes the time for stencilling, short stretch breaks, and a lunch break. I actually don't eat lunch and am happy with just a short break to stretch, The lunch break is for your benefit and optional

Can I bring a friend?

As this is a private studio with limited space, I prefer clients to come alone but if you must bring someone please limit it to only 1 person. Multiple guests can be a huge distraction as well as a safety and hygiene risk
